Monsanto & Cancer Milk: Fox News Kills Story & Fires Reporters

Started by Brandon. Last reply by Brandon Feb 9. 2 Replies

FOX NEWS Reporters (Reporters Steve Wilson & Jane Akre) uncovered the fact that most of the Milk in the USA and across some parts of the world is unfit to drink due to Monsanto Corporation's POSILAC®, which has been proven to be a cancer-causing growth hormone.(known in short as "BGH" "BST" or "rBGH" ), but they were fired for trying to tell people the truth. This is a nonpartisan video that shows the lengths some will go to further their agendas. It ends with a Florida judge ruling that…Continue

"Don't you care about plants?" Veg/etari/an perspectives on plant sentience.

Started by Neiru Maicialla Nov 28, 2011. 0 Replies

I'm sure many of you have been asked this question: "plants are alive too, why is it okay to eat them?" To many people this is a no-brainer but, aware as we are of the vibrant consciousness in all things, it is something we need to be able to answer for ourselves. Here is my perspective: I consider the food chain sacred and I think it teaches us our inherent interdependence on each other, so I don't…Continue

@ Chris, while it is a good start to get off eating animals, fish are also meat and ultimately you are going to have to make a choice whether or not your serious about not eating flesh. In my book, if it bleeds, slithers, crawls, flies, swims, walks, or talks, its meat. Currently I am working on dropping all dairy products and going vegan so once I get my mind right I won't need to use cow milk for my coffee and get soy or almond milk.

Ok. So I am officially a pescatarian. I only eat fish and other seafood and of course, fruits and vegatables. Can I dine with y'all?

I hate greens, but I’m experimenting with more greens in sandwiches, with gyoza, in stir fries and scrambles. Here is a soba noodle stir fry with shiitake mushrooms, red onions, edamame, fresh ginger, and a whole bunch of bok choy leaves.

Shiitake & Seitan Gyoza fried in ginger teriyaki sauce.

Based on this recipe, but with some substitutions.

Whenever people say “We mustn’t be sentimental,” you can take it they are about to do something cruel. And if they add “We must be realistic,” they mean they are going to make money out of it. — Brigid Brophy
