I like Dokuga from Dorohedoro a lot.

Dokuga is intelligent, calm, and very loyal. He has poison saliva, so all his life he's had to restrain his emotions (can't get too angry and scream, can't get too happy and laugh). He doesn't like violence, but he's a good fighter, and will use force to protect his friends once he has no other choice and peaceful methods fail. He doesn't want wealth or power or anything like that, he just wants a better world.

There's a scene where a stray moth got into his house, and instead of killing it he catches it and releases it outside.

I think this scene really makes his inner sweetness shine through. He didn't do it for the sake of survival and he wasn't ordered to. He did it out of his own volition just because he's a nice guy. I like that aspect of his personality: a fundamentally sensitive person forced into a violent world and restrained from outwardly showing the turbulence of his feelings, but all the while not losing faith in working towards a better future. I can relate so I think it's inspiring.

Actually, it's even more than that. Events in Pandora Hearts actually parallel my life sometimes. The... thing with Elliot at Yura's party (you probably know what I'm talking about since you read the manga, Zai), when that chapter came out, it was the day the same thing happened to my best friend. And the previous chapter, about Elliot and Leo and how Leo tried to save him with magic... well that was me with my friend too. Even back then, I took it as an early warning sign of what was coming for my own life. And when it came, that event finally elevated Pandora Hearts to my favorite series, above Berserk. So PH is both a source of intense personal significance and great comfort for me. Leo and Elliot helped me cope.

Oooh, I like living in harmony with youkai. I should check that series out sometime.

My favorite series is Pandora Hearts.

I resonate very very deeply with the characters collecting their past life memories, how it all happens out of sequence, and how it influences their identity.

I love SO many characters in Pandora Hearts. More than in any other series, and so intensely too. But my favorite character, and the one I personally relate to most strongly, is Break. His personality, the way he talks about people versus the way he actually feels about them, his bluntly honest yet simultaneously tricksy nature, his bloodstained past and his angst about it, and so many other things. But probably the most startling is that he has the same mission that I do. He wants to piece together the lost memories and figure out what really happened 100 years ago, since the past is about to repeat itself. This is the same thing I'm trying to do with my own memories, since I know they are a blueprint for what's happening in my life right now.

Break is very very helpful to me. A truly amazing mirror and guide. By connecting strongly (or "synchronizing," as I say) with certain characters, I can actually learn from their experiences, and even process karma, so Break is truly invaluable to me. He maps out my evolving relationship with people very well... how I used to be a lot more distant with people and only caring about my mission, but now am starting to open up more and realizing how much I appreciate some of them. I can really go on and on about Break.

Break is actually one of two mirrors for me. The other is Griffith from Berserk, who is another character/story that is of paramount importance to me. Griffith is a wonderful mirror of my ego (whom I love dearly). He goes in reverse of Break. Instead of opening up and appreciating them more, he clings more and more to his dream/mission no matter the cost. I really admire that about him, but I also learn from him about some pitfalls of that attitude. He teaches about the price of dreams, and asks how much one would be willing to sacrifice to attain their goal, no matter how noble it may be.

Griffith is one of my most profound teachers. And the mirror contrast of Break and Griffith's evolving attitudes towards the world are invaluable to me. I love them both so much!!

To me i definitely resonate with the anime Natsume Yuujinchou. I really love the story. Everytime i watch it it makes me cry.

I really love how they made the story where Youkai's or Japanese Monsters can be friends with humans.^^. It reminds me of my past life when i was an onmyouji where i live in harmony with youkai's.^^.

I agree with you.^^. It is true that our live are stories that we feed the universe.^^. That so sweet. With me my Grand father and Grandmother here on earth tells us stories. Usually it's stories about their supernatural experience and mythical creatures known in my country.^^. I grew up reading stories especially fantasy and supernatural.^^.

I really like the concept of Cosmo in Saint Seiya. It talks about the microcosm of the universe being inside you, and you being able to develop it to harness amazing feats of power. The Saints (kinda like Knights) are all associated with a particular star constellation as their guardian. When they fight, it's like they're fighting with blood and Cosmo instead of flesh and blood, able to even transcend death. So much passion and will! Here's the Saint of my own Leo constellation summoning the star essences of the entire zodiac:

And here's a tribute to the Virgo Saint Shaka, the Battle Buddha... one of my personal idols. He's got such immense power and serenity! Just watching him centers me, and focusing on him in meditation helps me calm my mind:

YESS!! I resonate so deeply with stories! My spirit mother raised my soul on stories, and told me that they're the most comprehensive form of information storage in the universe. Stories have so many layers of meaning, after all. Everyone takes away from a story exactly what resonates with them, and our resonance with them grows as we grow. The same story can be read days, months, years later and teach us something new! Our own lives are nothing but stories we feed the universe, after all. ^_~
