I'm not entirely sure where to add this, apologies if it is in the wrong place.
In a bit of an odd dream last night I walked into a dark(ish) room, not lit brightly, and an old man with grey hair and thin looking, was sitting at a table. I walked towards him and I opened a large old book. Inside the book the writing isn’t in english, it looks like symbols but I can read it (unfortunately I do not remember the writing). The old man is doing the same and reading a book. He looks at me and says something like “There is another source” and also says “There is a group (?)”. I didn’t feel comfortable talking to him, he said Namaste and I walked away.
So, I was wondering what people's thoughts are on another source?
Thanks!

When people talk about "source" in the cosmic sense, they usually mean a unified consciousness of pure, brilliant Light. This is why I find the darkness/dimness of the room you saw significant. To me, Light is not the only "source." There is "another source": the Dark. It is an enormous power without which nothing would exist. I relate to it as a mother Goddess energy - the primeval womb of the multiverse - who both creates and destroys. The "group" the man spoke of... to me that would be Void beings.
I actually just put up an article on this topic if you're curious about what I mean.

Thank you for your post:D It has opened a door that I had not really thought about before.
I read your post about the void beings.. wow! That is some amazing stuff! I hadn't heard of them before and was a good eye opener! :) I'm going to have another read of it :)

Permalink Reply by Neiru Maicialla on December 1, 2011 at 6:52pm I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Was it at all helpful to figure out your dream or resonate with you in any way? I thought it was interesting that you said you didn't feel comfortable talking to the man in your dream. Dark and Void energy often makes people uncomfortable, both because it challenges our comfort zones, and because it acts as a mirror for aspects of ourselves we try to avoid. But I think it is a very, vitally important force/source to embrace and empower ourselves with if we are to be whole.

Permalink Reply by Jen on December 5, 2011 at 4:08pm I had thought about the darkness when I woke up from my dream and it did resonate with me with what you say :) I think it is very true and agree with you on the part about the dark energy challenging your comfort zone. Now looking back, it does look like that when I feel uncomfortable from head to toe and walk away from him. But I then change my mind and want to face this.
A balance of both is what is needed and allow ourselves to have an understanding of both sides :)
